Collection Development Policy

Is anyone willing to share their school library collection development policy with me?  I am creating a sample one for one of my MLIS degree projects and would love to look at some models from international schools.  I am also looking to create a request for reconsideration template as well.

Kind thanks in advance,

Jen

Hey Jen,

I have a sample collection development policy that I can share with you.  I've attached it below.

This was prepared as part of a complete library analysis at The International School of Stuttgart by the University of North Texas MLIS study abroad students. I do have the complete library policy document, but you only asked for the collection development policy so that is all I have attached.  I hope it helps!

Please send me your contact information.  I'm leaving SAS this year and would love to stay in touch.

Best Wishes, Betty

Hi Betty

I would be really interested in seeing your whole library policy. I am about to help a new school librarian and this would be a great starting point.

Best Wishes

Elizabeth

Hi Betty,

Hope you are well.  I too would like the complete library policy document as I'm re-writing mine.  If you can share with me that would be very much appreciated.   Nearly pulling my hair out here.

Many thanks

Jules

Hi Betty,

Really appreciated the collection development policy.  I'm totally new to the library and my school is new too. So I'm just beginning t.  process every document from nothing. YOur full documents could help me a lot. Can I have them, please?

Thanks in advance.
